Patrick Berdoz joined Vinci Capital in 2010 as Advisor for the life sciences investments.
Patrick Berdoz received his HEG diploma in Economics from HEG in Lausanne (Switzerland) in 1985. Following a short career in finance, he became CEO (1986) and owner (1988) of Viso Medical, an intravenous therapy company located in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. His first major success came when he sold Viso Medical to a pharma company at age 34. In 1995 he continued his career in the medical field, becoming the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Precimed, a major worldwide orthopedic manufacturer. While continuing his global leadership role, he moved to the US in 1998 to establish Precimed, Inc. He made a few acquisitions, ranging from start-ups to mature companies, that he continued to develop after being integrated into Precimed. Patrcik Berdoz successfully sold Precimed in 2008 to Greatbatch (NYSE:GB) and is now leading a diverse group of start-up companies active in the medical device and dental industries.
