Roger Kollbrunner

As Partner at Novus Partners, Roger Kollbrunner is advising Vinci Capital on the late stage industrial investments in the German part of Switzerland.

Roger Kollbrunner started his industrial career in Sales with Mettler Toledo in the US. Afterwards, he was in charge of all industrial investments of a dutch family office. During that position, he mainly ran an industrial firm (120 employees) in China (Qingdao) and served on the board of several industrial firms in the US and Europe. After founding a start-up in the dental industry in the Netherlands and growing the company to 50 employees as a CEO, he returned to Switzerland. In Switzerland, Mr. Kollbrunner worked for a short period for Zetra International AG as a senior M&A advisor and then acquired his first company: Rovo Neonlicht AG. He restructured the company as a CEO and merged it with a competitor. Afterwards, he acquired the 120 year old Aebi Group (450 employees) together with Peter Spuhler and Gero Büttiker and restructured the company for 3 years as a CEO. He sold his participation in 2009 and continues to invest in industrial SMEs.

Mr. Kollbrunner holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ) and an MBA from INSEAD.

Mr. Kollbrunner is a board director of Vinci Capital's portfolio company: Schurter Retrofit AG.
